The Windows 7 font size settings can be easily modified to help you view the text more easily. The Windows font settings can be increased or decreased to satisfy your needs. This tutorial will assist you in making changes to your font size settings.



To increase or decrease the size of your Windows fonts, begin by:

  1. Clicking on the “Start” button or the Pearl in the lower left corner of your computer screen.
  2. Then click on the “Control Panel” shortcut.




















  1. Next click on the “Appearance and Personalization” option


















  1. Next click and check the “Make text and other items larger or smaller” option.
















  1. Next, select the size that you want the fonts to be, either larger or smaller.  Afterwards click on the “Apply” button in the lower right hand corner. Afterwards you can simply close the personalization options and also the control panel window.


















  1. If you would prefer a little more control over the font size settings instead of simply using the presets, click on the “Set custom text size (DPI) option on the left

















  1. Make your changes to the “DPI” settings and then click on “Okay”
