Google Chrome stores a very large amount of viewed web page history data. This data can be very useful, especially if you forget the address of a web page that you need to access again. In this tutorial we will show you how to view the browsing history data and also how to delete the data if needed.


To access the history data in Google Chrome, begin by:

  1. Opening Google Chrome and then click on the “Options Menu” button in the upper right corner of the browser window.





















  1. Next, click on “History”.






















  1. In this area you can view a large amount of the past web browsing history data. You can also search through the data to find what you need.





















  1. If you need to delete the history data, click on the “Clear Browsing Data’ button in the upper left.



















  1. Next, select the areas that should be removed. By default select clear browsing history, clear download history, delete cookies and also the empty cache option.
















  1. Once you have made your selections, click on the “Clear Browsing Data’ button at the bottom.

















  1. Once the history deletion is complete you can exit out of the history view page.
  2. That’s it, you’re done!
