On the other hand, if you value your privacy, it would be a good idea to remove your browsing history after using the browser. This tutorial will show you how to remove your Firefox browsing history data.

To remove your past browsing history in Mozilla Firefox, begin by:

  1. Opening Firefox and then clicking on the “History” drop down menu in the top of the web browser window. If your menu bar isn’t enable, you may enable it by following this guide.

  1. Next, click on “Clear Recent History”.

  1. Next, select what you need to delete and also select the amount of data that you want to remove. For most situations, just leave the defaults selected which include, the cookies, the browsing and download data, the cache. If you want to keep your saved website passwords uncheck the “Active Logins” option.

  1. Give the application a few moments to remove the data.
  2. That should be it. The browsing history should now be gone. But just in case, double check behind it to be safe.
