Has your Opera web browser become too cluttered with unwanted add-ons and extensions? If so, this tutorial will show you how to both disable and remove those add-ons.

To make changes to your Opera browser extension settings, begin by:

  1. Opening Opera and then click on the “Main Menu Button” in the upper left hand corner of the browser.

  1. Next, click on the “Extension” option in the drop down menu.

  1. Once the Extensions settings window opens, select the “All” option under the extension view section.

  1. If you need to remove the saved browsing data, click on the “Clear browsing data’ button in the upper right corner of the history view area.

  1. Next, select to either disable of to completely remove the undesired extension. You have the option of disabling the extension when you don’t need it and then re enabling it at a later time. In this example we’ll show you how to just remove them, because disabling the extensions is just a matter of clicking on the “Disable” button right underneath each extension that you wish to disable.

  1. So, go ahead and click on the little “X” in the upper right corner of each extension that you need to remove.

  1. Next, confirm the deletion by clicking on “OK”.

  1. After you have removed the first extension, continue on with any remaining extensions that need to be removed by utilizing the instructions listed above.

  1. Once you have removed all of the undesired extension close the settings window.
  2. Your work is done. That’s all there is to it!
