This simple tutorial will show you how to easily disable and also remove your unwanted Apple Safari extensions and other add-ons. A helpful video version of this guide is available down at the bottom of this page.


To make modifications to Apple Safari’s extensions begin by:

  1. Clicking on the “Settings Menu” button in the top right corner of the Safari.























  1. Next, once the drop down menu opens, click on the "Preferences" option.






















  1. Next, select the "Extensions" tab in the upper right corner.






















  1. Next, you have the option of disabling all of the installed extensions at once by simply sliding the button in the upper right to the “Off’ position back to the left.






















  1. You may also disable individual extensions by selecting the desired extension in the left panel and then un checking the “Enable” option directly underneath the selected extension.





















  1. And finally you also have the option of remove the unwanted extensions by selecting them in the left panel and then clicking on the “Uninstall” button directly to the bottom right of the selected extension.























  1. Once you have finished removing the extensions that were unwanted, close the settings window.






















  1. That’s it, you’re done!
