Internet Explorer by default maintains a total of 20 days of your browsing history. The default settings can be changed to increase the amount of days that it holds browsing data. It can also be modified to maintain a history of your web browsing activities for a  lot less time. In this tutorial we will be showing you how to delete your web browsing history in Internet Explorer.


To delete  your browsing history in Internet Explorer, begin by:

  1. Opening Internet Explorer and then click on the “Tools” drop down menu and then click on “Internet Options”.






















  1. Next, click on the “Delete” button.






















  1. Next, select the files that you want to remove which should include, the Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, and also the Download History. Don’t select the “Form Data” or the “Passwords” unless you want to remove your saved website passwords and auto fill form data.






















  1. Once you have made your selections, click on the “Delete” button.






















  1. That’s it, you’re all done! You can now return to what you were doing before.
